Another One

I can’t believe it!   Now I can finally tell that we are adding another member to our family!  All of us want it to be a boy.  We’ve known since December 8th.  I’m praying that it’s a boy.

What Did We Do?

Tonight the weirdest thing happened.  After we were coming home from Applebee’s, a police man approached us.  We were confused since we didn’t do anything wrong.  After awhile we pulled over and we waited for a few minutes.   When the guy finally came out of his car, he checked the front of the car for some reason.  He came up to the driver’s window and  told my mom that there was a driver next to us that had their two front lights out.   He thought it was us though.   Then he asked to see my mom’s license (of course, like always).  Then he let us go.  That was so weird though.  I knew we didn’t do anything wrong.  I’m thankful we didn’t get a ticket or something like that.

Christmas Decorating

It’s about that time when most people start to decorate their homes for Christmas. We put up our inside decorations on Friday. On Saturday, we did the outside. We put lights around the top line of the house, and we also put lights around some trees and we set-up some shiny, white trees in the front yard. My dad spent alot of time trying to hang up a big wreath on the brick on the outside of our house. My brother got up on the roof to help put the lights up. I really, really wanted to get up there, but I didn’t get to. Our neighbors obviously spend alot of tie decorating their house, because they have sooo many decorations. I can’t wait until Christmas!! :-)

Going Crazy!!

I am going crazy! I sooo excited to see my aunt, uncle, and cousin. They used to live near us (like 5 min. away), but they got a job offer, and moved to Ohio. They’re coming down to visit us for Thanksgiving. We haven’t seen them since August and before school started. You’d be surprised how much I miss them. They’re coming around lunch time. I love you guys sooo much!! I’m so excited!! :-)

Thanksgiving Break!!

Today was the last day I’ll be seeing my teachers for a whole week!  We have our Thanksgiving break from today, to next Monday.  I can’t wait to see my family, eat food, and thank God for everything He has given to me.  I can’t wait to eat all of the great, delicious food.  The pumpkin pie, potatoes, gravy, TURKEY, ham, corn pudding, and cranberries. My grandma does alot of the food, and she knows how to cook.

Rock Band/Guitar Hero 3

I want Rock Band sooo bad. Most of you know what that is. My sister, my brother and I all want it for Christmas. My brother played Guitar Hero before, but I haven’t yet. He says it’s really fun. I’ve watched videos about it, and it seems like it would be really fun. Guitar Hero is pretty much the same thing as Rock Band, but Rock Band is more expensive. Rock Band and Guitar Hero are on ebay. We are trying to find a nice one that’s cheap. Anyway, I hope we end up getting it sometime.

Best Day Ever

Today is the best day ever!! I turned eleven, not twelve Rita, at exactly 11:26 am. At school stuff just kept on appearing at my locker. In the morning when I was talking with Candice and Rita, my mom snuck by and stuck a sign on my locker that said “Happy 11th Birthday Victoria.” I have no idea how she managed to do that without me noticing, but anyway then after lunch I found a balloon tied on my locker also. My mom did that too. Then after going to the bathroom and I was walking down the hallway, I saw something blue and colorful hanging from my locker. They were 2 packs of tropical skittles. They were from Rita. Candice kept on saying “Shannanghahn Naversary.” Evidently it meant birthday. My class and some other kids who I have no idea who they are kept singing happy birthday to me. I got tons of wonderful gifts and other things that are so totally awesome. Thank-you everybody who gave me something!!

“Reading Rocks!”

The other day Lexi gave me one of those stretchy wristbands.  It is tye-dye and it says: “Reading Rocks!.”    Even though I despise reading, the bracelet is still cool.  She got it from doing book- it or something.  Thanks Lexi!!

Pork B-B-Q

Today we are getting ready for my party tomorrow when my family comes over to celebrate my birthday. I decided to have pork barbecue and beef barbecue. I helped my dad take all of the fat of of the pig. Then we separated the meat into smaller pieces. It was so gross!! :-( Anyway, at least it will taste sooo good because we are using Famous Dave’s Rich and Sassy sauce. For a side we are having baked beans with bacon in it. I think more people will have the pork than the beef kind.

P.S.- There is only 2 days until my birthday!! :-)

Only 6 Days!!

I’m so excited!! My birthday is in only 6 days! I’m going to be 11 years old. I’m younger than almost everybody in my class. On Sunday, my family is coming down to celebrate.
